SB237 HFA Boggs 2-11#1

            Delegate Boggs moves to amend Committee Substitute for Senate Bill 237 on page six, section three, following line 23, by inserting the following:

            “(7) Regulate the movement of captive cervids and provide for maintenance of documentation of the origin and destination of all shipments of captive cervids and any other documentation required under the animal husbandry laws of this State: Provided, That no cervid may be imported from another state for use in a captive cervid facility in this State if the exporting state has had a confirmed case of chronic wasting disease or positive tuberculosis in a cervid in the last sixty months.”
